LGMIER Nashik Launches Initiative to Train Students for Salesforce Jobs

The demand for skilled tech professionals is constantly evolving, and Loknete Gopinathji Munde Institute of Engineering Education & Research (LGMIER), Nashik, is taking proactive steps to ensure its students are ready for the challenge. A recent seminar held on 7th February 2025  focused on emerging technologies, with a particular emphasis on the burgeoning field of Salesforce development, underscored the institute’s commitment to equipping students with in-demand skills.

The session, led by industry veteran Mr. Sandip Deshmane, a recognized IT leader with over two decades of experience, provided students with a comprehensive overview of the current tech landscape and the critical skills needed to thrive in the years to come. Mr. Sandip highlighted key areas like cloud computing, AI/ML, cybersecurity, and data science, but it was the focus on Salesforce that truly resonated with the audience.

Salesforce: The Key to Career Success:

Mr. Sandip emphasized the explosive growth of the Salesforce ecosystem and the corresponding surge in demand for Salesforce professionals. He explained how Salesforce, a leading cloud-based CRM platform, has become indispensable for businesses across industries, creating a wealth of high-paying job opportunities for those with the right skills. He stressed that Salesforce expertise is not just an advantage; it’s becoming a necessity for career success in the modern tech world.

From Insight to Action: A Collaborative Approach:

The seminar wasn’t just a presentation; it was a conversation. Mr. Sandip engaged with the students, encouraging them to explore their own tech aptitudes and consider career paths in Salesforce development. An interactive activity allowed students to assess their current tech knowledge and identify areas for growth. This personalized approach helped students understand their strengths and weaknesses, enabling them to focus their efforts on developing the skills most relevant to their career aspirations.

Leadership’s Vision: A Commitment to Salesforce Training:

The importance of Salesforce training was further underscored by Dr. Kailas V. Chandratre, Principal of Loknete Gopinathji Munde Institute of Engineering Education & Research. Recognizing the immense potential of Salesforce careers for his students, Dr. Chandratre scheduled a dedicated meeting to discuss the integration of Salesforce training into the institute’s curriculum. This proactive approach demonstrates LGMIER’s commitment to providing students with the practical skills they need to succeed in the real world.

A Partnership for Progress – and Practical Skills:

The seminar and subsequent discussions paved the way for a strong partnership between the college and Coding Commando. Prof. Datta Pawase, the Placement Officer at LGMIER, praised the initiative and expressed his enthusiasm for collaborating with Coding Commando to provide students with valuable training and career opportunities. This partnership signifies a shared vision: to empower LGMIER students with the skills and connections they need to launch successful tech careers. As part of this collaboration, Coding Commando announced the launch of a comprehensive 3-month Salesforce training program designed specifically for college students. This program will provide students with 60 hours of intensive Salesforce training, hands-on experience on live projects, and upon successful completion, an internship completion certificate, giving them a significant edge in the job market.

Beyond the Seminar: A Future of Opportunity:

The seminar at LGMIER was more than just a one-day event; it was the beginning of a journey. It ignited an interest in Salesforce development among the students and laid the foundation for a long-term commitment to providing them with the resources and support they need to succeed. With the support of the institute’s leadership and the expertise of Coding Commando, LGMIER students are well-positioned to capitalize on the growing demand for Salesforce professionals and shape their own successful futures in the tech industry.
